Meet the Founders of 3GEN Robotics

Founded in 2025, 3GEN Robotics started with a simple frustration: too many impressive robots never make it out of the demo. Our mission has grown since then. Today, we're building toward a bigger goal any robot, any task, one brain. Read more about where we're headed.

Dan Sterantino, CEO (pictured left), brings 30+ years in the technology sector and a track record of building companies from the ground up, including redShift Recruiting, upstate New York's leading tech recruiting firm. He holds a master's degree from the University of North Dakota. Dan's conviction is that the technology to deploy advanced robotics has finally caught up to the ambition and that these systems will reshape manufacturing from the floor up. Fun fact: he built a robotic arm in high school and won a collegiate science fair with it.

Sam Sterantino, COO (pictured right), is pursuing a B.S. in Economics at Siena College, where he's competed in multiple case competitions and reached the finals of the BESS Global Case Competition. He brings several years of marketing and business administration experience to the team. What drives Sam is the bigger picture — the economic ripple effects that automated manufacturing will send across industries and communities. Fun fact: he qualified for the USA 2025 triathlon nationals.
